Sescription of series idea:
The paintings are influenced by observation of urban and rural landscape, abstract elements such as blocks of colour and lines are used to convey a sense of form and depth. Intuitive decisions are made during the creative process and a variety of materials and techniques are used to achieve the desired effects.

Used technique and materials:
Images are built up in layers of transparent colour using silk screens, and further layers of acrylic paint and collage may be added.
The binding method:
Pieces are sealed with acrylic wax and presented on stretched canvas.
