Bio

Born in 1982 she grew up during a transition period in Hungary when retailers from the Western countries entered Hungary and shaped its culture. She has a background in Visual merchandising and holds a degree in Economics as well. Sports have played an important role in her childhood as both parents were professional sports persons. She strives to go beyond the world of emotions and enter into a deeper human existence understanding. Nora has always been fascinated by technique and materials, and how they can alter human emotions and ideas.

Art Statement

Nora often uses mixed mediums in her work, preferably oil and acrylics , creating layers of colours and creating depths in her canvases. People are invited to think and feel what is going on in her paintings and then by parallel in their own lives. She paints poetic inner landscapes by changing the type, consistency and colour of paint. By abstraction aiming for universality and uniqueness , contrasting order and chaos, harmony and tension are all thoughts embodied in her works.
