All of my recent works are a continuation of my geometrical and serialist research, it is about the complex variation of horizontal and vertical lines composition.
The “Wood and White composition” has this particularity of trying to combine a traditional material like wood (and its warmth) with something as prosaic as silicon and polistiren are.
“The Grey composition” and the “HorizontalVertical” have a common point, in the Cucuteni culture, where the vertical and the horizontal lines are used in so many ways! Cucuteni culture was developed in Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, so we have it in our DNA. 🙂
In the “AID1 serialism” I used the bottles that I kept for a medical treatment that I had to take for my arthritis. I am a little fear of the fact that the bones from my hands will be ill, so I am trying to find soft treatments for now. As I know, it is an evolutive illness and I don’t want to use the strongest drugs from the beginning. What I used are some plant tinctures; I kept the bottles from the treatment that I took during the quarantine and this is the final work.
So, my new works are examples of order with very small differences between elements, which gives me a condition of quiet, light, peace. The same common idea of “contactless”.
