BioMilena Apostolović (1992) started studying painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2011 and finished her Bachelor’s degree in 2014 and a Master’s degree in 2016. In the same year, she enrolled her Ph.D. studies of Painting at the same faculty. As an Erasmus student, she spent one semester in 2018 at the Academy of Fine Arts Jan Matejko in Krakow, Poland.
She is a scholar of Ministry of Education of Republic of Serbia (2008 – 2011), Municipality of Požega (2013 – 2016), Foundation for Young Talents – Dositeja for the school years of 2013/14, and 2015/16 and Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for Doctoral studies (2017). She is a winner of the award “Perspective XXXII”, National Gallery in Belgrade (2016) and the award for drawing “Stefan Knežević”, Faculty of Fine Arts Belgrade (2015).
She is a Member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS).
