Magdalena Dominika art
The Optical Art style focuses on the impact on the viewer’s sense of sight, not on his intellect or emotions. Works frequently cause optical illusions.
Artists are using abstract combinations of forms, light effects, dynamic and textural effects, aimed at evoking the impression of depth and movement by vibrating the field of view.
In her “Verduras y Frutas” series, combines hyperrealism with graphic manipulation. The artist creates unique compositions from photos of everyday objects and food products, transforming them into fanciful and abstract puzzles. Magdalena Dominika creatively uses the banality of vegetables and fruits, hence the name of the series, and combines them so that it is difficult to read the rule governing the entire composition. The compositions resemble yantras, arabesques, meanders, grotesques and Arabic ornaments.. Magdalena’s works are not governed by the principles of realism. The author often combines fancifully different elements in one work. She uses stylization, simplification and reproduction of realistic forms or even geometric abstraction. Magdalena is a master of alternating designs. Her artistry lies in the fact that, despite a systematic repetition, she is able to avoid monotony. From afar, the main lines are clear. Up close there are more and more details of photographed objects. Everything in perfect harmony of form. Everything in a characteristic rhythm. The key to reading the patterns is mathematics, the subject is nature. This combination allows Magdalena to express universal, immaterial, spiritual values. Her works are a record of the code of life and co-existence of people in society. It is a combination of an ideal abstract and nature in which symmetry and a straight line do not exist.

The author freely combines various fanciful elements. She uses stylization, simplification and multiplication of realistic forms or even geometric abstraction. Magdalena is a designer by education, and as a designer she is a master of alternating patterns. Her artistry is based on the fact that despite the systematic repetition, she can avoid monotony. We can see the main lines from a distance. Up close, we see more and more details of the photographed objects. We can even recognize abstract forms.
Dominika’s works exude order. Everything in perfect harmony. Each graphic follows its own rhythm. The key to reading patterns is geometry. The theme of nature that surrounds us. Such a juxtaposition allows the author to freely express universal, non-material, spiritual values. Magdalena’s works are a record of the code of life. It is a combination of a perfect abstract with nature. Apart from abstract geometry, symmetry and straight lines do not exist. In her works, Magdalena breaks this standard and uses digital abstraction to create images referring to the chaos theory. The ideal is only in our minds. Reality is a permanent deviation from the ideal.
