“EMA” Exhibition at IAXAI Gallery – A Showcase of Jarosław Filipek’s Experimental Painting Techniques
The “EMA” exhibition, held at IAXAI Gallery, is a unique showcase of the work of Jarosław Filipek, an artist renowned for his explorations of experimental painting techniques. The title “EMA” refers to the concept of experimentation and unconventional action in art, which play a key role in the artist’s work. Filipek presented paintings created through multi-layered painting processes in which matter interacts with technology, chemistry, and chance. Among the works were works using synthetic resins, industrial pigments, sand, as well as firing and impression techniques. The exhibition was not only an opportunity to admire artistic results but also to understand the importance of the creative process and how matter itself creates an image, entering into a dialogue with the artist.
“EMA” is a space where experimental painting becomes a tool for discovering the unknown possibilities of materials and an expression of the philosophy in which a work does not end at the moment of its creation, but continues through continuous interaction with matter.
