Art Statement
“Color is like music that touches directly your soul.”Since my youth I have been in circles of artists and surrounded by photographers, sculptors and painters. That inspired me to see life with different eyes. From the beginning, art has guided me through the time and the world.
My first medium was photography as tangible proof of the beauty and the experience. At some point that was no longer enough for me. I wanted to show more, including what I saw and felt behind the facades. That was best shared in painting. I started painting in 2001. Where photography creates moment, I extract through my painting, impressions of time and reality, the splendor of places in their subtle changeability.
For me, abstract painting is communication on another level, another dimension, where is color like music that touches directly your soul. read more
