She began by creating texture compositions from materials and fabrics. Very soon Alice and people around her understood that her designs were rather independent art objects then outfits.
He feels that his artistic duty is to create objects reminding and explaining the past, the civilization of his ancestors, a culture known for textiles, ceramics, buildings decorated with murals and monumental sculptures. He studied sculpture Mexico City but now prefers the easel. Aware of his Indian roots, he creates paintings in an abstract way interpreting ethnic stylistics in the studio in the provinces.
Jan Astner practices painting, drawing, computer graphics and photography. Recent projects come from the fascination of multi sensual perception. Paintings are elements of performances based on the idea of synesthetic metaphors – abstractly combined sensual experiences create individual feelings for each participant.
