More than painters of the concrete and the living, Pelin choose her subjects in the landscapes or daily scenes of the contemporary life freely interpreted and recreated according to her vision and her personal sensibility of each one of them.
.
I know Pelin’s work for several years. At Galerie 5 continents, we are very happy to represent her as artists. We are always amazed because we are immersed in a world both joyful and disturbing. Pelin has become a master in the art of representing human depth with harmless elements. His work is eloquent and touching in its way of juxtaposing the symbolic elements and the control of his paint application.
.
As in a game whose artist knows the rules, we are constantly invited to guess the meaning of its composition. Sometimes, we instinctively capture the work, which helps the spectators to be lulled by the romanticism of her works. In the presence of the works of Pelin, we feel her love and respect for nature. The major composition of her paintings evoke this nature. However, everything is well dosed so that we feel in harmony with this environnemt.
.
One of the major qualities of Pelin’s works is that it challenges us about the flaws and weaknesses of human being without feeling guilty or judged
Recently, her work is mature, about (resulted). There is something peaceful and powerful in the symbolic elements. That’s new. But generally, her work stay zen and keep the romantic side and the color remains sparkling. Self-portraits seem comical to us but there are loaded with emotions.
